Droid X is laggy as hell, Iphone 4 has those call problems and is NO FUN unless you jailbreak it, and if you jailbreak it even slightly wrong it screws up. HTC all the way.

I use Meboy builder. All it does is use normal GB roms and make them a jar file ready to install on your phone. Don't know about emerald, but I'm sure the new phones can run that, not mine.
