An 0660 Review: Inception (2010)
« on: September 03, 2010, 01:53:36 pm »

I've seen many movies in my life. Some I liked, others not so much. Actions, Dramas, Comedies, I watch them all. I enjoy many movies. But Inception is another story. This movie changed my life. I enjoyed it  so much that it has become my favorite movie of all time. This movie can only be described as one word: Perfection.

One of the huge parts of this movie that I liked was the mystery. There is so much to think about after watching this movie! There is more and more depth to the story the more you think about it. Mystery and discovery have always been a large part of whether or not I'll end up liking a movie, and Inception delivered.

The plot was very emotional, but in a good way. It'll take you up, it'll take you down, and when you get off you feel absolutely... amazing. They couldn't have done a better job with it.

I've liked many theories, just theories that may make you lose grip on reality. This movie is about going into dreams, so what better to suit my needs? If you always are where you want to be, then why leave? Who is to say what is and isn't real? Inception will keep you thinking and guessing throughout the movie, and even after it's done!

I'm afraid to keep typing. I want to discuss the ending with someone, but that would ruin it for everyone else. Anyway, I better get on with my review! ALL the actors delivered. It's to be expected in such a high-quality film, but the acting is so realistic, the emotions make me feel a different way depending on what's happening! Every actor in this film gets an A+ from me.

The special effects are mind-blowing, and how deep they go just thinking this movie out is stellar. The effects play into the theme of the movie (watch it and you'll understand). I love video and image editing, so I really had to appreiciate the work they must have out into the effects for this movie.

My only complaint is that they seem to mess up time transitioning in the dreams (don't ask, just watch!!). You may understand what I'm talking about if you go watch the movie. You better.

Well, I have to wrap this up, I've got places to see, people to do.

Overall, this movie gets...

A+
